MaxLinear G.hn Analog Front End Processors
MaxLinear G.hn Analog-Front-End (AFE) Networking Processors are high-speed home networking processors that provide up to 2Gbps physical data rates over any wired medium. These AFE processors include support for 200MHz coaxial, 200MHz phone line SISO, 100MHz phone line MIMO, and 100MHz powerline MIMO. The G.hn AFE processors feature faster net throughput, spirit Software-Development-Kit (SDK), end-to-end 128-bit AES CCMP encryption, and Low-Density Parity Check (LDPC) forward error correction. The end-to-end 128-bit AES CCMP encryption enables added security whereas spirit SDK enables customized solutions with fast time-to-market.
The G.hn Analog-Front-End processors provide programmable transmission and reception gains for each physical medium with supporting powerline, phone line, and coax cables applications. These processors are available in 4mm x 4mm QFN package offering flexibility for designers to mix and match footprint-compatible components to address multiple G.hn applications. Typical applications include consumer, broadband, industrial, and security segments.
